The Shepherd's Center is the primary sponsor of the Greensboro SeniorNet Learning Center. The mission is to encourage older adults to help each other pursue independent and active lives of quality, enriched and supported by learning and service activities in caring fellowship.  The Shepherd's Center office is located at 302 West Market Street, Room 103, Greensboro, North Carolina 27401.  Telephone 336-378-0766.  Fax 336-370-4772.

Friends Homes, Inc.,a Quaker retirement community, provides two classrooms and parking facilities at 925A New Garden Road in Greensboro, NC.

BellSouth was an initial sponsor helping to fund the startup of the Greensboro SeniorNet Learning Center program in 1996.  From 1999-2007, they provided teaching facilities at their office building near Four Seasons Town Center.

AT&T The southeastern AT&T Foundation in 2007 awarded a grant to suppport a new SeniorNet classroom and upgrade Shepherd's Center office equipment.

Hewlett-Packard has supported the local SeniorNet Learning Center by providing much needed equipment that is used to enhance classroom teaching and to promote the Learning Center in our community.

The SelfHelp organization generously  provided nine computers for the Greensboro SeniorNet Learning Center @BellSouth.
 

The Hillsdale Fund
The Hillsdale Fund provided a grant to underwrite hardware upgrades and new equipment for teaching in both Greensboro SeniorNet Learning Centers.
 
Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro
The Community Foundation provided a grant for expansion of Greensboro SeniorNet Learning Center services.

The national headquarters of SeniorNet provides consultation, software from Microsoft and other donors, and curriculum materials to nearly 250  SeniorNet Learning Centers across the country.
